In 2019, the Media Program of the Soros Foundation-Kazakhstan transforms into the Information Program that will focus on issues of the information space and promotion of digital rights and freedoms of Kazakhstanis.

Focus areas:

1. Countering misinformation, developing critical thinking through media literacy and factchecking projects;
2. Promoting digital rights and freedoms of Kazakhstanis, in particular, the right to privacy;
3. Access to information.
