Analysing a survey results to determine the vulnerability of teenagers in Almaty and Almaty region to violence and early/forced marriages

This presentation acquaints the readers with results of first part of the research carried out under the project aimed at protection of girls from rural areas against early and forced marriages supported by Law Reform Program of the Soros Foundation-Kazakhstan.

The presentation reviled existing problems and allowed to come up with preliminary conclusions. These results are expected to be used in the preparation of strategic action plan which will include awareness-raising among youth, experts and local authorities as well as mobilization of local communities towards prevention and protection of girls from all forms of discrimination and violations.
