In 1996 she graduated from the KazNU. Al-Farabi in the specialty “Computational Mathematics”. The professional activities of journalists in the newspapers “Karavan” and “Time” was a project coordinator at the Soros-Almaty Center for Contemporary Art, led by the press service of the film studio “Kazakhfilm” them. Sh. Aimanov, was engaged in the PR of the Central Asian USAID Program for the Development of Public Society.

Aliya joined the Soros Foundation-Kazakhstan in 2016.
